Job Summary: The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing and purchasing automotive parts, supplies, and services for the car dealer company. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Negotiation:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure the best prices and terms for goods and services.
Purchase Order Management:
Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory control team to maintain optimal stock levels.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable supply chains and resolving any issues promptly.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that purchased products meet quality standards and specifications, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams for any necessary quality checks or improvements.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
