Job description :

To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and full-fill their academic potential.
Missions:

1. Teaching

  • Teach maximum 25 hour per week for both theory and practice on Automotive /Motorcycle subject
  • Respect the standardization, competencies and program of the lecture
  • Teach consistently high quality lessons in line with the designated school curriculum
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and tutor
  • Plan and deliver schemes of work and lessons that meet the requirements record/report for teaching/class administration
  • Use a variety of pedagogical techniques of student centered approach
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential

2. Student’s discipline

  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school procedures and to encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, professional behavior and responsibility.

3. Assessment

  • Use a variety of assessment methods and giving feedback to students– assignments, quizzes, tests, etc., to evaluate and monitor student progress.
  • Being the invigilator for state exam Correct the exam

4. Professionalism 

  • Promote aspects of personal development related the major subject
  • Set cover work during any leave of absence

5. Personal Behavior 

Be a role model for students, inspiring them to be actively interested in the major field by ensuring a high quality learning environment
Provide basic counselling to slow learners or learners with discipline problems by encouraging an active self-learning both in school and community
Actually participate to the entire life and school team

Profile :

Education

Minimum High Diploma Degree.

Experience

At least 2 years of working experience related to mechanical machinery, teaching and repairing of car.
Be able to train students during practice in the workshop.

Skills

Be able to use MS Office, e-mail and use presentation slides and communication.
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing, and French is an advantage.
Be able to drive the car with driving license

Specific Technical Competencies

  • Must have pedagogic training.
  • Be able to repair all kind of car
  • Repair car engine, suspension system, Brake system, clutch system, steering system, air-conditioning system and electrical system.
  • Be able to use diagnostic scanner.
  • Strong in researching
