Job Description
This position is responsible for managing the credit underwriting process, ensure the effective credit underwriting turn-around time, develop and review the policy, procedure, and manual of the corporate and commercial loan to comply with local and international regulations and competitive environment, review and approval loan proposal, and design and train to relevant staff.

Head Office – Phnom Penh

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage credit underwriting team and monitor underwriting process for corporate and commercial loan.
  • Review and approve loan proposal.
  • Undertake strategic initiatives to improve the speed and comprehensiveness of credit origination process.
  • Oversee credit risk profile and implement appropriate mitigating measures.
  • Participate in due diligence process and liaise with lender/ investor.
  • Participate in designing and developing new credit products to meet the market demand.
  • Review/develop credit policy, procedures, and manual to comply with local/ international regulation and competitive environment.
  • Ensure that credit policy, procedure and manual are strictly adhered by staff and branch office.
  • Design training material and provide training to credit analyst and other relevant staff.
  • Other tasks which assigned by supervisor.

  • MBA degree or equivalent degree is required.
  • At least 7 years working experiences including 3 years in management level and, at least 4 years experiences in Finance and Banking Sectors.
  • Energetic, detailed oriented, able to adhere deadlines on a timely manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, including excellent English speaking and writing skills.
  • Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure, highly self-motivated, and long-hours.
  • Advanced analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency with high level of commitment and determination in delivering a great result.
  • Strong communication skills for negotiation & reconciliation.
  • Be available to travel countrywide.
