Job Description
The Senior Unit Manager of ITD for Network Routing & Switching works closely with the team work implement, direct, and coordinate the installation and connectivity of network operations for all branch offices, off-site ATM, and other BCP sites. Provide ongoing support to ensure the up and running of the network operation. Provide facilities in staffing and manage the usage of network equipment in cost cost-effective manner. Good cooperation and contact with all ISPs to achieve satisfaction support on network operation services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supporting in designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
- Supporting in designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks.
- Supporting in installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment, including routers, switches, Wireless network, WAN, and DHCP for all branch offices, off-site ATM, and other BCP sites.
- Supporting management in the procurement process for network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation for the branch office.
- Supporting in configuring routing and switching for all branch offices, off-site ATM, and other BCP sites to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Manage and maintain the core network routing and switching DC and DR to ensure the device is available and capability to support the business operation.
- Monitor network operation service for all branch offices and off-site ATM regularly to detect any problems and take corrective actions to ensure it operates smoothly.
- Monitoring network performance and tracking network usage to report on system load, usage, and response.
- Manages resources of the network and telecommunication unit to ensure adequate cover for both day-to-day BAU workload and project delivery.
- Research, plan, and propose the deployment of networks and telecommunication to support business operations.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning on network operations with all branch offices.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all network operations for all branch offices and off-site ATM.
- Updating network equipment for all branch offices, off-site ATM, and other BCP sites to the latest firmware releases.
- Provide support and training on branch offices and off-site ATM network operation to subordinates.
- Perform diagnostic analysis of the network system, identify possible faulty devices, troubleshoot faulty modules, troubleshoot network problems and outages, and prepare necessary documentation detailing actions taken.
- Be responsible for the safety design and management of the network system, design network security measures, implement network security management, and guarantee system security and information security.
Skills Specifications
- A bachelor degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
- Certification CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP. At least 5 years’ experience of network LAN, WAN, VoIP, PBX, Call Center, routing and switching.
- Knowledge in LAN, WAN, VoIP, PBX, Call Center, and network security.
- An ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills
